East of Napa, Left of Center: Matchbook Wine Company is a winery with 1600 acres of estate vineyards tucked away in Northern California’s gently rolling Dunnigan Hills. Family owned and operated by the Giguiere family, Matchbook produces a unique family of wines that showcase the flavor and potential of the Dunnigan Hills. The Matchbook flame is an homage to the Giguiere brothers’ youthful fascination with fire. The Giguiere family pioneered grape growing in this region in 1981 when they planted their first vineyard. By 1993, the Giguieres had succeeded in making the Dunnigan Hills a nationally recognized American Viticultural Area. Over 35 years ago, the Giguieres started as a small family owned winery and vineyard and grew it into a 750,000 case winery producing noted brands like RH Philips and Toasted Head. In 2004, the Giguieres retired from RH Philips to start Matchbook Wine Company.


Matchbook Wine Company is seeking a creative and self-motivated individual who is willing to take on the many tasks needed for the art department.

Who You Are:

  • You are passionate about social media and can deliver creative content (text, graphics, and videos)
  • You have strong videography and editing skills along with photography skills
  • You have excellent oral and written communication skills with a strong attention to detail
  • You have the ability to cultivate a fun environment through teamwork and a positive attitude
  • You are open and receptive to design critique
  • You have strong organizational and prioritization abilities
  • You can handle deadline pressures well
  • You can adapt to the changing needs of the business
  • You have the ability to multitask and can manage many roles and projects

What You Will Do:

  • Manage social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram and TikTok
  • Create social media visuals and content including text, graphics, photos and videos
  • Design and produce print and digital marketing materials
  • Assisting with updating website graphics and maintaining content
  • Maintaining archive of images, videos, and projects
  • Print and cut marketing materials such as labels, flyers, brochures etc.
  • Create/Draw signs for the tasting room and/or events

Education and Experience:

  • Possession of a Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or similar
  • Must be proficient on Mac platform, Adobe Creative Suite; Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Microsoft PowerPoint, have working knowledge of WordPress.
  • Must have social media experience
  • Photography and videography skills
  • Must have working knowledge of Google Drive
  • Freehand drawing a plus
  • Creative writing or copywriting a plus
