Matchbook Food Drive

by: Mikaela Leach

California produces nearly half of the nation’s fruits and vegetables, yet 1 in 8 Californians currently struggle with food insecurity. “Food insecurity” is the occasional or constant lack of access to the food one needs for a healthy, active life.

Please help us fill the barrels in our tasting room with canned goods and shelf-stable foods now through November 20th. The Yolo Food Bank will distribute the food to people struggling with “food insecurity” in Yolo County.

Visit Matchbook, fill your glass and fill our Yolo Food Bank barrel!

Winestalker Gives The 2014 Arsonist Red Blend a Rave Review

by: Mikaela Leach

The Winestalker raved about the 2014 Arsonist Red Blend in his latest review. “There’s blackberries, strawberries, grape soda, chocolate, and root beer. On the finish the grape soda pops with the acidity, and there’s a bit of heat that warms your mouth and belly. It’s such a good wine on its own, but it’s got to be a great pairing with ribs.” Check out the video above or read the review by clicking here.

Please Join us to Support our California Wine Family impacted by the Wild Fires

by: Mikaela Leach

The wine community is a large  family. We are devastated to see the wild fires in Northern California continue to destroy more and more acres.

The battle with the fire and the recovery are far from over. We need to band together as a wine community family to help those in need. Please join us in donating to your favorite fire relief fund or click here for a Wine Enthusiast article that contains ideas on how to help our Northern California neighbors in need.  Or simply #helpcalibuycali and as you select a wine to drink, please choose one from Northern California.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the firefighters, first responders and all those who have lost so much in these unprecedented fires.
