by: Ashley Johnson

Since 2008, Crave Local has regularly reviewed products, businesses, and services in an effort, “To help people make better buying decisions.”  To expand on that, the Crave Local community “is all about discovering new, innovative businesses that satisfy our core values: Products that are good for you, make life easier, eco-friendly, and give back to the community.”

Matchbook Wine Company is proud that Crave Local chose our wines to review in their article titled, “Red, White, and Rosé: 90+ Point Wines To Kick Off Your Summer.

Lots of secondary notes come out in the glass with a little air as well. The lovefest continues when tasting this smooth, delicious wine. There is, of course, lots of rich, ripe dark fruit but also hints of chocolate, more cinnamon and licorice and even a bit of bramble. Chewy tannins lead into the dry, lingering finish …”

Matchbook Wine Company and Cousins Maine Lobster Celebrate One Year Together

by: Ashley Johnson

Far away from the cool breezes off the coast of Maine, in the dry heat of the Dunnigan Hills, is an oasis flourishing with acres of rolling hills lush with green vineyards, sage green olive trees alive with the sounds of birds, and fresh, succulent lobster.

On June 25, just in time for America’s Independence Day, Matchbook Wine Company welcomed back Cousins’ Maine Lobster. This particular event was especially significant because not only did Matchbook Wine Company and Cousins Maine Lobster celebrate their one-year anniversary, but Cousins’ Co-founder Jim Tselikis made a special trip to Matchbook Wine Company to celebrate.
